- Before you begin reading this blog and imagining yourself creating gourmet meals, stop. This blog is not written for you to impress your friends and colleges. This blog is about surviving, yet not spending a fortune to do it. When we think of going to the grocery store, most people will immediately lay out a list (or not) of prepackaged, pre-made and frozen prepared foods. I want to take you on a journey towards the days of our ancestors. I do not expect you to cook on your fire place or outside on an open fire, but I do anticipate you learning to cook quick, simple and nutritious meals from scratch. From scratch is the key to making this work. When you go to the grocery store, walk past all the frozen dinners and the quick box meals. It is not as hard as it seems, trust me. I am not a chef, or a nutritionist. I am a simple father of one, full time employee and a student. My wife and I have been doing this for quite sometime and I can assure you, it is not as difficult as it seems. Welcome and enjoy the journey!

some of the ads on this site have been very interesting. I will keep checking them out. The one about Healthy Snacks for kids is great! Be sure to read that one yourself. Give the baby a big hug and kiss for me.

There are a lot of interesting items in the Google ads! I found a fantastic stainless steel covered casserole dish I'd love to have through one of the Google ads on your website last night. If only I had $245 for a casserole pot! LOL! It was super nice!
